Pedestrian Gridlock 110 x 1100cm
Exhibited at The Hague, Netherlands
We are all part of it, the crowd moving through with hardly any oversight of where we are heading. With my fascination for the overwhelming mass, my visual exploration took me to the city centre of Amsterdam. Here I placed my ladder to hover above the herd and document the pedestrian gridlock we often find ourselves in.

Exhibited at Budapest, Hungary - Moholy - at Nagy University of Art and Design, March 2024
What does herd behaviour look like in a touristic environment? I’m fascinated by human behaviour and if the choices we make are a result of herd behaviour. In this work I conduct a visual exploration regarding the herd mentality at Vissersbastion, one of the most touristic places in Budapest. By exploring with different photography methods, I framed the touristic behaviour on the same spot where heaps come and go; like an assembly line, the herd is guided for a near-prepped experience.
